Opening of the Christmas Street

Come to Rotuaari Square on 11.11.2022 at 18:00 to enjoy the first moments of the Christmas spirit as Oulu's Christmas Street opens. The programme will include breathtaking Christmas music, a skilful performance by the Oulu Star Circus and the lighting of the Christmas lights. Of course, the busiest gentleman of the season, Santa Claus himself, will also be there!

Lumo Light Festival

Magical, blood-curdling, startling and moving - to name just a few emotions - is the feeling of admiring the light-filled works of the Oulu Lumo Light Festival. In the city centre area alone, there are ten stunning works to walk through. The Lumo Light Festival is in Oulu from 18 to 20.11.2022.

Tiernatori

Oulu Rotuaari Square will be taken over by Tiernatori 16-23.12.2022. Come for Christmas shopping, shopping for souvenirs or just to enjoy the warm atmosphere in the small stalls. At Tiernatori, the smells, sounds and warmth of Christmas will envelop you in its embrace.
